SMEs have the technical and analytical experience to make decisions on registry applications, on the revisions and updates to the registry programs' Policy and Body of Knowledge, and to maintain the programs' Competency Assessments. At its very core, the SME teams enable the Registry Programs to operate in a scientifically sound manner and ensure that resources are available at the technical level to the AIHA Registry Programs staff and participants.
Call for AAR SME Applicants
The AIHA Registry Programs' Asbestos Analysts Registry (AAR) is seeking qualified volunteers to fill positions in its SME team. The AAR SMEs provide technical direction in developing the AAR program policies and applications. An AAR SME also helps ensure that the organizations participating in the AAR conform to our policies and technical requirements by conducting reviews of AAR program applications.
